Hey guys
So HM has come and gone for another year. As a first time attender, overall I was impressed with the event. There are always things which can be made better, but as a youth oriented event. It was great :) I personally enjoyed the Saturday night sermon. It was challenging and I was unable to listen to it without analyzing my relationship with Christ the whole time.
Anyways, someone posted a comment asking for a entry with room for your experiences, visions and dreams that came about on the weekend. So here it is. Feel free to write what you feel on the comment board. Be honest and bold. If your vision is from God, then action and boldness are keys to realizing it.

ps. We have also not hammered out next weeks youth, Hillsong concert would be one possibility. The fee would be somewhere around 30$ , so what do you guys think. We can also just meet at the Church and have a meeting there. Let your voice be heard though :)

HM was awesome and always is! i sure can't wait till next year again! There are always great speakers:P I especially liked the speaker reggie:P he was so funny! Love da blackman:P
HM was amazing. But of course, God was even more amazing! I could totally feel His presence and Him speaking to me. I was also totally blessed every time I did what the Spirit led me to do, which was really awesome and reassuring. We need to remember that encounters such as those with God can happen any day, anywhere, and not just at gatherings! We also need to pray against the attacks of the enemy, as he likes to attack after powerful God-encounters. We need to pray for strength to overcome temptations for us and everone who attended, because Satan knows where we've fallen short before, he knows our weaknesses and tries to wedge in a new foothold after we've been freed from them. It's easy to slip back into a routine life, but we need to pray that we'd be revolutionaries for God every day of our lives, and that God would equip us to serve and fight in the way he calls each of us to do. Let's claim back everything the enemy has stolen from God's children!

Wow Nina,thanks for that powerful message. You have a great way of saying things.
One of my dreams for this summer is to hold girl's Bible studies maybe once a week or every two weeks, hopefully Guys/Girls studies too. Actually this has been on my mind for awhile so it's something that has to happen if you're willing to be a part of it.
And I don't know about any of you, but after hearing David Nassar's challenge, I went home and started thinking about the Bible verses I had memorized. I realized how important it is to start adding to those numbers of verses, not just so I can give myself a tap on the back, but because the Bible is uplifting and encouraging. Food for the soul and armor for spiritual battles.
That weekend was so refreshing for me. I felt reborn in a way, and I got some of my priorities re-sorted. God also convicted me of things that I should be doing but have not done so well previously. It will be hard to follow through with it, but at the same time, it'll be exceedingly worth it, I know full well.
So ya, after 11 hours at the hospital today, I'm ready to sleep. I just can't wait; it will be a glorious thing.

I'm planning on going to the Hillsong concert and I believe my sister wants to go as well as Jarno. The biggest concern is parking. Has anyone been to the Thunderbird Stadium for a concert lately? It's outdoors so be prepared for a chilly evening (11c)
Possibly pack a camping chair as well.
HM was fantastic!!!! I'm already looking forward to next year. I had a wonderful encounter with Christ. Reggie's sermons were amazing, I love how he releated with the youth. Amazing musical talent. Luv da black man - A'ight!!!!!

P.s.- Jenni i would love it if we started having that whole girlz night thing, I found that one time we did sooooooo rewarding!
i thought the tickets were $20? and the stadium is outside? like is it a football stadium then since its outside? and if we go we should go earlier so we can get tickets/parking!
Yeah, they're $20 + service charges. Last time I checked the website where you could buy the tickets, the service charges were only a couple bucks.
I think $30 dollars is just a rounded number of the 20 plus service charges fee. But how many people are wanting to go... I mean are we going as a youth group?
Yeah, the 30$ is a rough estimate cause gas, drinks and miscellaneous is always needed for stuff like that :) As for goin as a youth group, i'm not sure. I know there are a few youth who cant afford to go and that sucks. Keep on postin, but maybe we will have to do 2 things Friday night. Some will go to Hillsong and some will meet elsewheres.

From what I've read from a site where you can buy tickets for the concert, the Thunderbird Stadium charge is $2.50, and a convenience charge is $1.50. And Miika you should be posting very soon whether we're going or not, since it's tomorrow...
oh and the person above jess is me:P and can we pat at the door or are we suppose to pay ahead of time? i really want to go and then go there and not be able to get in or there not being enough tickets.

so im going to be taking pics of emma out in vancouver cuz its her grad and i will be leaving for UBC (from the place in van where we are taking pics) at about 4 to 430ish. so ya. I can go see if there are available tickets and i can save spots out on the grass or whatever.
