How about that new movie called "Sappy McSaps visits Sappyville" :)

Anonymous said...

... or "Sappy Gilmore"

seriously tho, i have to suggest The Guardian. It's awesome.

Anonymous said...

aaaah oh gosh!
the Guardian was good!!

I veto "Sappy McSaps visits Sappyville". That's what we're all watching, like it or not. And you can't skip out, or you will form sap blisters and sores and your eyes will turn into balls of sap and your ears will ooze sap until they bleed sap. Shall I continue?

Anonymous said...

UGHHHHHHHHHH
the thought of sap oozing out of my body is just gross.

i ate sap off of a tree on a dare when i was like 8 >.>

Anonymous said...

Well, then.
Sap or die.

Anonymous said...

obvvvvviously i am going to pick sap.

Anonymous said...

i like the smell of sap, but i don't like how sticky it is and how it doesn't wash off easily.

Anonymous said...

sappy movies; just like actual sap, piss me off.

how about the last king of scotland or the last legion?

Anonymous said...

i heard last king of scotland was not appropriate for a youth group movie. so nooooo.

I've already seen the Bourne Ultimatum.

Amazing Grace would be a good movie to watch. A bunch of us have seen it already, but it was really good.

The Bourne movies are kinda confusing. So was Amazing Grace even though it wasn't that bad.

Anonymous said...

I've only seen Bourne Ultimatum and I understood it, without even having seen the previous ones.

"not appropriate for a youth group movie"

uh oh, not those darn hand holders again. how terrible. :P

guardian sounds good

Anonymous said...

Last King og Scotland was good, but realy sad and violent at parts so i dont suggest it for youth, but still worth seeing sometime...

Anonymous said...

Holding hands is definitely only to be done in private. Or in the presence of responsible adults.

How do these anonymous posters justify watching a movie alone when they won't watch it at a youth-meeting? Its an interesting question and seems to reek of hyprocrisy...

Anonymous said...

why not a happy movie?

Anonymous said...

sad movies are cuter.

Anonymous said...

no happy movies are!

Anonymous said...

sad movies are depressing

Anonymous said...

i second that

Anonymous said...

wat happened to the last legion?

Anonymous said...

I thought it looked good :>

Anonymous said...

kings and knights and stuff are umm, boyish. remember there's girls too.

Anonymous said...

i'm a big fan of manly movies

Anonymous said...

what would we do without kings and knights? goodness, think about it.
we would have no one to wed!

Anonymous said...

hahahahahahaha i guess that's true

Anonymous said...

oh hey,
it would help to know what time to meet at

Anonymous said...

does anyone have major objections to the last legion?

Anonymous said...

Elissa is bringing The Guardian. In case you do decide to watch that.

Anonymous said...

last legion sounds dope

Anonymous said...

both look alright according to the trailers. how about we watch the shorter of the two?
Jenni
ps. emma says guardian

Anonymous said...

Running times:

The Last Legion: 1hr 42 mins
The Guardian: 2hrs 19 mins

Anonymous said...

haha we didn't even watch any of those :P

Anonymous said...

Could someone please give me an example of a "sappy" movie?

Anonymous said...

we already did. "Sappy McSaps visits Sappyville". =P

Anonymous said...

hmm i've never heard of that one. how about a real movie?

Anonymous said...

Sappy: an herbaceous character that resembles sap

Sap: a watery solution of sugars, salts, and minerals that circulates through the vascular system of a plan

Anonymous said...

sappy:

pungent adjective of disesteem

...haha...

or in this case

Full of sap; juicy.
Slang. Excessively sentimental; mawkish.
Slang. Silly or foolish.

Anonymous said...

sentimental? you mean A Walk to Remember is a sappy movie?

Anonymous said...

A Walk to Remember is a phenomenal movie. It is not sappy, it's romantic!

Anonymous said...

yeah it is a good movie, i agree.
so can someone PLEASE give me a real example of a sappy movie?

Anonymous said...

I watched Music and Lyrics a while back. I believe that it qualifies as an extreme example of a sappy movie...

Anonymous said...

I do believe you are mistaken.

Anonymous said...

sappy = "i love you, you love me, we're a happy family with a great big hug and a kiss from me to you, won't you say you love me too"
