I need to know how many people are coming, because we have to pay for the number we reserve it. So everyone, who wants to come, needs to sign-up by Wednesday 12pm.
If we get 16 people going, we get a discount (22-->18 dollars/person).

Here is some info on the Mexico Mission trip:
- dates: August 19-31/2009
- Place: Ensenada
- What: Children's ministry
- With Whom: in partnership with YUGO ministries
- Cost: 250 (lodging and food in Mexico) + 100 for travel expenses (Motel's+food) + Extra money to spend... = total 400-500 dollars.
I need to know, who is in by the end of March!
If I get a team of min 7 people I will go and take you there...

unless without us everyone else has to pay more (exactly 14 or 15others) i think me and marissa should pay separate from the group, since we will be together and don't need equipment.

the sign up is for the rock climbing place. We need to make a reservation for a certain size of a group and then they arrange the needed staff to accompany us. Reservations are confirmed 48 hours before. The number we give then is the number we pay as we go there. I am not sure if additions can be done (maybe if it does not require more staff; like for every 5 they have one staff so if we have 12 coming and then 2 more want to add in, it might be possible, but I would not count on that; I will ask when I call them and let you guys know). Cancellations have to be payed in full after the 48 hours.
Don't forget that 2 - 3 of the youth can be the anchor person (they're trained), so we might not need to pay for too many extra staff members.
don't you just have to give them an approxamate number of people. it doesn't have to be the exact number.
well this is my first time arranging this so I pretty much go with what they say... I don't know hoe much flexibility they have in the end. They just told that I have to confirm the numbers 48 hours before and that is what we pay. So wait till Wednesday... no time to do that now...

Here's the info from Cliff Hangers:
They have a 5 (climbers) to 1 (staff) ratio, so if we have 10 climbers they will provide us with 2 staff members - cost would be $22.00 per person which includes rentals. They are flexible on the numbers, if we are off one or two climbers, however, if we have 8 extra people show up - they would not have the proper number of staff available. BUT, since we have 3 people who can belay (Liisa, Danica, Marissa), we're okay to go over our confirmed number by a few if these three lovely ladies are willing to help with belaying.... For the belayers, who have their own equipment, the rate would be $17.00, however they're not really "part" of the group, but can climb by the group. If the group numbers are big enough the rate will go down for everyone.
Everyone under 19 needs a waiver form signed by their parent, if they do not have a waiver form on file with Cliff Hangers, Coquitlam, already.

Hehe, oh poor Sam :) Everyone means well, but as the guy tryin to make sense of it...well, it ain't easy :)
We went last year, and the staff was pretty flexible with us. A few extras showed up, and they accomodated them without to much griping.
