Here I am, send me...

Our time needs our witness.
We are God's people called to proclaim, declare openly, make known
His marvelous light for this world.
Do we have a vision and burden to join in God's mission to redeem and reconcile the world to himself?

This Friday we will be developing that sense of vision and burden for our generation.

Food & Fellowship

Haven't seen many of you for some time, because we were traveling and last weekend was the history maker.

So This Friday we would like to invite you over to our place
to enjoy food and fellowship.
I am going to make some curry and Helena will bake some delicious deserts.
During the evening we'll share from the History Maker
(if all the 6 brave souls who attended could prepare to share what they got)
and make plans for the summer.
Those feeling inspired can bring your guitars and songs with you so we can make some music!

The food starts 6pm...
We end around 10pm

We are easy to find.
If you are coming on Hwy 1 Exit 1st street and turn right on to it.
Take the left on Boundary.
After a few streets left on William st.
We are on the right hand side at the corner of Skeena street (1176).

Welcome!
If you need to call me: 778-689-8100

HistoryMaker

Good to be back.
Our trip to Finland was great and now we are just recovering from jet lag
and I am trying to get up to speed with what is happening here.

This weekend is the special History Maker event.

I have purchased 7 tickets with the early bird price of 75 dollars.
People who signed up (and haven't cancelled):
Danica
Nina
Elisa
Samuel Tedder
Lydia
(Jesse)
So at least one more can still benefit from the low price and get in with us to HM!
And you can still join us, even if it costs a little bit more...

LET ME KNOW ASAP, if you want to get the discount ticket.
(pay the 75 dollars to me as you come; you can write a check to Bethel Church)

HistoryMaker starts on Friday.
I suggest we meet there at the Langley events center 6.30pm
The doors open at 7 and the first sessions starts at 7.30pm

Saturday starts at 10am

I can pick people up on the way to Langley (Jesse & Lydia, Elisa?).
Let me know if you need help with rides.

For more info on the event check:

As this is the big thing of the weekend
there is no other program arranged for the youth this Friday.

Sunday English service is at 11am

This Friday...

Greetings, my little (and not so little) munchkins! (evil cackle)
Sorry, I guess the fact that I'm leading youth this Friday has gone to my head. Anyway, this Friday we will be meeting at the Church, if everything goes to plan, which it should. I don't know if Sam prearranged any worship, but if not, some a capella songs will suffice. I might organize a game or something, but I hope to be finished by 9, after which I was hoping that some of the guys would join me for some Sauna at my place. This is nothing prearranged, but if the ladies would like to do something together afterwards (somewhere close by, but not necessarily), that would make it easier for everyone as far as ride are concerned. However, since this is such a late suggestion, then we can drop the whole Sauna thing and do it another time if it doesn't work for the majority of you. But I just thought it'd be an an interesting deviation from the post-youth Tim Hortons gatherings. Regardless, we will have a message, and if the lateness of the whole thing bothers any of you, we can get the conventional part done by 8:30.

Any Thoughts?
