Celebrating Life!

We just got back from our trip to California yesterday late evening.
So sorry for late blog entry.
But thank you Natalie for getting things going for this Friday's celebration!

Life is very exciting.
We can only plan vaguely about the future, but ultimately we live in faith in God's guidance. That makes life adventurous, but also gives a sense of security since it's not all in my hands...
This Friday we celebrate life with Nina, who graduated and is going to a new stage in life, with Jarno & Liisa who are taking exciting steps forward in their calling and with all of us who've come through an other year of school/work and entering a more summer mode.
Yes there are ups and down in life, but a good attitude makes life so much more a celebration!

All the days of the afflicted are evil: but he that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast. (Proverbs 15:15; King James)

A miserable heart means a miserable life;
a cheerful heart fills the day with song
(Proverbs 15:15; the Message)

This Friday 26th Youth Evening is at Natalie's house 6.30-10pm
Pot-luck celebration with food! (reply to Natalie what you are bringing)
Instruments (bring your guitars) lead in celebration with song!
Enjoying fellowship, having fun...
Celebrating God's presence with prayer and Word!

Series in the book of Revelation continues... Unveiling Reality II

Hey guys!
Hoping you're all having a great week and aren't too stressed out with exams from school!! We're trying to have a good time out here packing our stuff and getting everything ready for our trip. :)
So we were thinking originally about having youth at our place this Friday BUT given our 'box' situation and lack of dishes and other necessity situation- we have decided to meet at Jarno's parents place in South Surrey. We'll spend some time in the Word, some worship, maybe we'll even put a little outdoor fire on in the firepit outside?? Sounds like a relaxing and uplifting night after a busy week.
Hope everyone can make it out for the good times... and if you have a little time to bake/make/drop by the store to bring snacks it would be awesome!
God Bless,
The Karjanlahti's
