7.15-7.45 team Games (can someone bring the mölkky game wood pieces for pumpkin bowling? - emma/Jenni .. I remember seeing one at Koivumakis)
7.45-8 Snack (pizzas, drinks, candies are on the house! you can bring some baked goods or chips - thx Jenni!)
8-8.30 Message moment: songs, skit, message, song (please bring bathrobes and towels to look more like a 1st century Israeli disciple! We have a really cool fishing boat made by Daniel + painted by Marissa & Elissa!)

And remember, you can come in some nice costume... but don't have to:)

Awareness of Grace

Jesse read me a poem today that spoke of realizations of grace in the little moments of everyday life. It was beautiful, and I hope you could hear it too... So maybe this Friday we could get Jesse read it to us all!!!

It is actually a great thing when we can become more sensitive and aware of the workings of God's grace in our lives. That kind of awareness is birthed in prayer and through the renewing of our minds as God's word captures our imaginations. May God open our inner eyes to behold Him. (If you have a chance, or maybe we should do it together one of these Fridays, watch Prince Caspian and follow how and who become aware of Aslan's presence... its a great illustration of our spiritual lives)

This Friday @ Kotikirkko 7.30-10pm

Giving Thanks

Thanksgiving is a unique North American celebration. It's a great opportunity to pause and reflect on life and the goodness of God. Too often we human beings are forgetful and loose our sense of gratitude. It's easy to loose the right perspective in life and start taking life for granted or even with negative glasses on. So let's take this opportunity to pause and give thanks to the

One, who
made us,
has a plan for us,
knows us,
is with us,
and leads us into eternal Life!
(Ps 139 summarized)
