Twilight Drive Time

Hi peeps,

Hope everyone has had a great week so far, I know I have. Been working on getting the summer camp invitations out in the mail and other things together, I'm really excited for summer camp this year. So looks like Friday night will work the best for everyone going to the drive in.. that way people can stay for more than one movie because they don't have to head off to work early the next morning. Admission will be $12.00 per person. Movies that are playing are: Toy Story 3, Prince of Persia, and Alice in Wonderland.

The first movie starts at 9:45pm and directions how to get there are on this link: http://www.members.shaw.ca/twilightdrivein/dir.html
They recommend getting there an hour early to get a good spot. So let's try and meet there around 8:30pm.

If you need a ride or can drive and want people in your ride let me/us know in the comments section and we can sort things out... also remember to include your name so we know who's asking what. ;)

Also don't forget that we're going to Mars Hill Church this Sunday and if you have decided you can come please let me know ASAP so we can organize rides. It's going to be awesome! Thanks guys.

This past Sundays sermon was on John 15, where Jesus talks about Himself being the vine and us the branches. That we need to remain in Him in order to bear good fruit in our lives. So how do we remain in Christ? By keeping His word and His command. What is Jesus command? LOVE. So remember love the Lord with all your heart, and love each other. So simple, yet it's so powerful.

Things coming up:
July 4th- Church picnic at Dease Island (3pm)
Sunday Service- 11am, fellowship hall (many of us will be in Seattle so it will be a small groups style meeting.)

See ya soon,
Jarno and Liisa

It won't be July yet on friday, so the price will still be $12 ;)

Also they recommend arriving an hour early to avoid being turned down if it's too full there.

so how exactly does this drive in movie thing work?

You get a car load of people... drive to the movie theater. Each person pays $12. Then you drive into the area and park your car at a stall infront of the screen. You tune your car radio to the station that they have set for the audio... and enjoy three movies. If it's nice out it is good to bring lawn chairs or something so you can sit outside. It's pretty fun.

You can leave whenever you want.

hey, about the trip to seattle - I told Nina I was going with you guys at 7am. Then I remembered that's the day after my grad, so I KNOW I'm not gonna be able to wake up in time. I'll have to leave with the others at 1pm.
Who is that, and who's driving?

Hey guys, awesome that you guys want to come to Seattle!!

-Natalie, Klaus is leaving at 1pm, I believe he's got room. I'll double check with him.

-Danica, there should be room in either our car or Daniel and Jenni's, depending on just how we organize who's in who's car.

Are you guys coming to the drive in tonight where we could sort it out?

Drive in tonight:

I got a message from Sam graciously offering to take the van tonight, so that means 8ppl could fit in his ride. How does this sound, anybody want/need a ride?

SEATTLE trip:

Just want to remind everyone to get INSURANCE from BCAA for the day trip in the USA, also check with your parents if you have travel insurance already covered through them.

Natalie,

Klaus may not be coming to Seattle anymore because Veera really hurt her back so if you want to come it would probably have to be with us in the morning. Sorry. Have a great grad!
