Hey everyone,
As you may have noticed the address to our blog has changed and also our name has changed. We believe this is more fitting to the dynamic and age group of our... well... group. So what to you guys think? 19twenty College & Careers Group, and in short 19twentyCCG. Do ya like it?
So last week we kicked off our new series of Bible Studies by members program and it took off quite well, it was great to see a good sized group come out. We started off with the book of Colossians.. which is one of the epistles that is mostly centered around Jesus Christ. We got through the intro to the book and most of the first chapter. Thanks again to Niko for having us over at his place.
There has been a little change in plans for this week regarding our next study. Daniel has swapped turns with Jesse due to a family gathering this week, so Jesse will be taking our next session. I just found out last night and have not spoken with Jesse yet if we will be meeting at his place or elsewhere. So I will let you guys know ASAP when I talk with Jesse. However, we will meet up on Friday at 7:30pm... location.... to be announced. Also if there is someone who wants to open up there house for this Friday, just let me know.
Also we will be having our first Connected Night this October 1st @ 7:00pm, so you can mark that on your calendars and come on out to play games, eat food, and have fun hanging out.
This Sunday morning service @ 11:15am. I will be preaching on Our Changed Lives - Faith and Works. Would be awesome to see you guys there as well. =)

I'm house-sitting in Kits now and if you guys wanted to have the thing here this week that would be alright, although I know it's a bit far from where most of you guys live. But the house is beautiful, pugs are awesome and i have tons of snacks. Also the guest room is free so if anyone wants to stay overnight that would be ok. I get kind of bored here all alone

Yeah, I talked to Jesse last night. He is able to have us at his place as well.
Jenni and Daniel aren't going to be able to make either this week.
I know Jesse will need a ride to Kits if we decide to go there. I'm fine with either. So if someone can pick Jesse up on the way I think Kits should work as well. So what does everyone think??

Love the name change bc it better reflects our group. however, i think "young adults" would be less corny sounding than "college and careers" but that's just my opinion. it doesnt matter really

Kits sounds far nicer than my little hole-in the wall (not to mention less crowded) however, I would still need a ride, so if anyone is coming through richmond, let me know.

i texted Liisa the address. It's not in a wind-y neighbourhood or anything so it's pretty easy to get to.
