Get Connected this Friday

Hello peeps,

I hope everyone watched the Canucks game last night and witnessed us moving on to the Stanley Cup finals since our last time in 1994... but I assume Nina didn't watch because we won ;). But man what a game, scoring to tie the game with only seconds left in the third period and then the intense overtime play. I almost couldn't watch. Nice that we came out on top for once.

Anyways on to the business. This Friday we are having our last Connected Night for the summer time, until we will resume them in the fall. So it will be at the church @ 7:00pm. If the weather cooperates will get a game of street hockey going and also some games of Molkky. If the weather decides to be rainy we'll have a group game of some sort inside. Also there will be a kid's program so help with that is always needed.

Then on Saturday Jesse is having a open house celebration for his graduation from 2pm to 6pm in Port Coquitlam. Here is the address: 1793 Aire Crescent, Port Coquitlam. So come on out for that and let's party it up with Jesse.

Sunday we will have our service at the church regular time, 11:15am. See you at church!

Sunny Friday

Hello all,

So last weeks post was all messed up... the blog servers or something where glitching because the post was apparently not viewable as were the comments but then they reappeared, was it Saturday? So hopefully this week everything will work fine.

Man I'm enjoying this sunny Tuesday, just looking out my office window at the nice Vancouver view. Hope this marks the beginning of the summer! =)

Ok, there is a change to our original plans, I thought the Canucks' schedule was different for this week at the time I wrote the posting on Tuesday. So because the game is on Friday @ 6:00pm and I'm sure people will want to watch it, we can watch it at our place and have a BBQ also. So head over to our place whenever before or during the game and bring some snacks or drinks if you can, we'll have hotdogs to BBQ. Then afterwards we can plan some of our video and hang out and have fun... anybody up for a game of Catan?

Then on Sunday we have our morning service at the church for 11:15am. So come on out for that as well.

Friday Coming Up

Hey all,

How fareth all thee? Hope everyone is having a great "rainy" week so far. Where is this elusive BC spring?!? Sure hope it shows up soon.

So this Friday we'll get together at Daniel and Jenni's place @ 7:30pm. So come on out for a good time together. Also if you want to bring something good to eat or drink to share with everyone that would be swell. Hope to seeing you all there.

Sunday morning service is at 11:15am at the church. See you there as well. ;)

May Has Arrived

Hey guys,

So April has come and gone and we are into May.... and with that the summer months are fast approaching. It's nice that we've been getting some sunny days here and there and I hope it's just a taste of what's to come. Liisa and I picked up some patio furniture on Sunday after church because it was such a nice day.. so now we're all set up for those summer days of BBQ and spending time outside.

This Friday we are going to have everyone over at our place for 7:30pm. So come on out to hang out together, eat some good food, play some games together, and of course we'll discuss some scripture and pray together. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Sunday morning service is at 11:15am so come on out for that. There will be coffee, tea, and cake before the service for mother's day... so come a little early.
