Fall Festival Connected Night

Hello all,

So I'm glad to be back in Vancouver! I must say I appreciate what a wonderful city we live in... and it sure has been a nice fall with all this sunshine. Liisa and I just got back from our Toronto trip, it was a nice time to see some family and friends we haven't scene in a couple years, and also to be a part of Sarah and Jason's wedding... but it sure is nice to come home.

So this Friday we have our monthly Connected Night coming up and it is our Fall Festival themed celebration. We have a fun and adventurous kid's program and a good time for us adults planned as well. So come on out to the church this Friday @ 7:00pm or 6:30pm if you wish to help with the kid's action stuff... help is always needed and greatly appreciated!

Then on Sunday we are having our service @ 11:15am as usual and I will be preaching a message related to the topics we've been going through at CCG this fall. So come on out to praise God and meditate on His word and truths.

Friday at the DJ's

Hey Everyone,

So this Friday we will be having Young Adults At Jenni's and my place. As well, we'll have an encouraging message from Krystal Alopaeus, she'll be sharing some things that God's been doing in her life over in Australia. And as usual we'll just have a great night to get together with each other.

Prayer Night

Hello all,

So Thanksgiving has come and gone and wasn't a wonderful weekend? We have so much to be thankful for in our lives to God and to each other! It's so easy to get down and negative about things in our lives which then in turn brings us down in our spiritual lives as well. So it's important to daily give thanks to God and be grateful for our lives and the joy that He gives us. Also something that helped boost the moral this weekend was all the great food... Liisa made a great ham in the oven that was delicious. Yum!!!

So this Friday, as announced on Sunday, we will be having a prayer meeting at the church @ 7pm where everyone from 19Twenty Church is invited to attend. We will spend time in prayer and worship, and also weather permitting we'll go on a prayer walk in the community.

Then on Sunday morning we will be having our regular service @ 11:15am. Come out to hear God's word, spend time in fellowship, and pray. Glory be to God!!

Friday at Natalie's

Hey everyone,

Another Friday is coming up so that means another evening we get to spend with each other... how great is that? Hope everyone can answer, "that's great!" =P

So we will be getting together at Natalie's place in Whiterock for 7:30pm and we will be continuing with our topic of the fall, which is the spiritual realm. So come on out to discuss, look at God's word, and pray. Also we will be having a great time hanging out, eating food, etc... Also bring something good to eat to share with everyone! Nummmm...

This Sunday morning is our Thanksgiving festival at the church. It is starting at 11:00am and there will be food afterwards in the fellowship hall. Bring a salad if you can. So come on out and give thanks together to God for His greatness!
