Next week

Hey guys

So it sounded like a sweet night at Jarno and Liisa's on Friday. Thats awesome, and really a blessing that there is another married couple who are helpin lead and so on. It really makes me and Marja happy :)
So I was chattin tonight with a few of you, and there was some questions about next week, and also a few suggestions. I think that since we are democratic and fair though, we should have a 48 hour period where ideas for next week are pitched.
So far the ideas are
1. The corn maze
2. A movie night at the Church

Let me know what you think we should do, and we'll go from there.
God bless and hopefully we'll see ya at Church tomorrow.

Oh and Miika, I finished reading the entire Bible about 2 or 3 weeks ago. Yay! I encourage everyone to get on it. It's been a really good boost of faith and blessing for me. If you haven't already started, now is as good a time as ever, and if you have, keep going. All you need to do is read a few chapters a day and you'll finish. I might even be starting all over again soon....

I don't really care either way, but we can always watch movies wihle the corn maze is always there. Plus I think I heard that the weather should be nice at the end of next week. So why not the corn maze?

i'm not too crazy about the corn maze, especially if its been raining all week. movie sounds good, we could all bring food and have, well, food!

Corn: tall annual cereal grass bearing kernels on large ears: widely cultivated in America in many varieties....lets go to the corn maze!

reading this is just pure entertainingness.

Anonymous said...

this is very entertaining, i couldn't help but laugh as i read through it all. congrats to Nina on finsihing the Bible!!<3
and i think movie night. i easily get mad when i'm at the cornmaze. so if the corn maze is the final decision, i probably won't be going. but don't worry i can just bake many batches of cookies and muffins and eat them all. so i'll be happy either way:P

If you don't come you'll be missing out on great opportunities to invite your friends out to a youth event.

Anonymous said...

and the corn maze is good because we are actually up and moving around for a change and not just always sitting around.

Anonymous said...

Exactly, well put.

Anonymous said...

i would love to go to the water polo tornament but i guess it might be fun to go to the horse escapade show instead but im happy with either choice:)

Anonymous said...

WHAAAAAT? when did water polo and horses become a thing?

Anonymous said...

HAHA.
well I may be coming now that my friend wants to come. but i'm still not sure.
-Elissa

Anonymous said...

I think that Elissa should lead us all out of the corn maze like a modern day Moses!!!

Anonymous said...

i think so too. that's so rad that your friend wants to come. part of the purpose of having an event like this is to invite new people out!

Anonymous said...

CORN MAZE if it's not too rainy/cold.. i'm freezing my butt off all the time now! i would rather not get sick, BUT corn mazes are fun fun fun! :D
it would also be closer for everyone to come out!

I wouldn't mind either corn maze or movie night sounds like a lot of other people feel the same way so I vote we do one first then the other the next week! As for Bible reading congrats Nina my pretty ballerina! I personally am going to be happy if I make it through the old testament by the end of the year :P

Anonymous said...

darn it. Nina's right, I won't be able to make it Friday. Wish I wouldn't have to miss the corn maze but oh well. You guys have fun! Hopefully I'll be able to make it the following Friday, I haven't been to youth in a while =[

-natalie-

i don't mean do ruin your party, but it's raining stupid out there and the weather network says it's gonna be like that tomorrow too :S

-JJ

Anonymous said...

ya, i just checked the weather, and tomorrow/today's gonna rain. i don't know about everyone else, but i don't wanna go if its going to be wet and muddy:(
(so i vote movie and food)

Anonymous said...

i just remembered i LOVE mud. with some good rubber boots we can stomp around and have a mud fight :P

-JJ

Anonymous said...

Yeah! Who doesn't love the mud and so what if it rains a little bit. Corn Maze!

Anonymous said...

it will be a mud pit. i vote movie but if you guys wanna have fun in the mud then go ahead, i'll be sitting comfortably by the fire.

i wasn't serious about the mud thing. it is fun getting all messy tho.

one thing i was thinking about is we should do another hockey night. that was a lot of fun when we did it before.

Anonymous said...

i still vote corn maze who cares about some mud...if your clothes get dirty then thats why they invented washing machies. all you guys got to do is pray for it not to rain tomorrow:D

Anonymous said...

oh and last year we went there were puddles and no one complained so whats wrong with this year to go again?

Anonymous said...

What's the final decision Miika?

Anonymous said...

fyi everyone was screaming their complaints when they stepped in a mud puddle! I still say it's not a final decision and we should still have movie night instead because of the rain! :D

Anonymous said...

i think i was the one with the most complaints:p
