Hello everyone,
So here we are already approaching the end of February. Time is just chugging along and at a fast pace it seems like. Many of you have written exam after exam and it feels like summer is fast approaching. I'm looking forward to those summer days myself and I'm hoping it will be a nice one this year.
So this Friday we are continuing with our prayer month. So on Feb. 25th we will be meeting at the church for 7:30pm to keep praying and seeking God, for our church, for our city, for our community, and for ourselves. So come on out... we've had awesome nights of prayer and just feeling the closeness of God.
Also many of you probably heard the sad news that Mika Talja passed away on the weekend in a car accident in Finland. He was our youth pastor at our church in the early 2000's... and he was a man who lived all out for God. He had a very positive and life altering impact on many of our lives and it's sad he's left us... but he's always put his trust in Jesus and is finally home now. But, remember his wife and three boys in your prayers, they are for sure going through a rough time and our prayers can definitely help them... so remember to pray for them. Mika you will be missed by many!
This Sunday morning service is at 11:15am so try to make it out. See you there as well.
